There are worlds without stories, but there can’t be stories without worlds. During his studies, Leif Heanzo started his career as a storyboard artist for movies and commercials. After finishing his study of design at the UdK in Berlin he developed different animation styles for documentaries like »Vaterlandsverräter«, »Flake« and »Fassbinder«. For 15 years, he has been working in the film industry as an illustrator and concept artist, draws and creates sets, props and even entire worlds for national and international productions like »Inglourious Basterds«, »Matrix Resurrections«, »Tides«, and many others. Leif Heanzo impacts motion picture stories emotionally and contentually with his complex illustrations and paintings, and after more than 25 films he has great conceptual capabilities in many fields of pre- and post-production.
